🌸 Flowers and Plants with Mrs Rea 🌿

Today, Mrs Rea kindly took our P3/4 class on a wonderful tour of the school grounds to explore the beautiful flowers and plants growing around us.

We visited the polytunnel, where we checked on our sunflower seedlings and saw how they are progressing. The children also enjoyed a fun challenge, trying to guess different plants just by smelling their distinctive scents!

During our walk, we explored the orchard area, where we discussed the different types of trees growing there. We were able to see how the new pond was taking shape and talked about the exciting wildlife it may attract.

We are very lucky to have such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic expert like Mrs Rea to help us learn more about the fantastic plants and outdoor spaces in our school. 🌼
