A Special Visitor

Today P3/4 had a special visit from an optician. Len came to speak to us about how we can keep our eyes healthy. He was very impressed with our knowledge of how we can look after our eyes by eating healthy fruit and vegetables and drinking plenty of water. The children were very interested in some antique glasses Len brought in to show us. He had a pair of glasses that were 200 years old and had no frame or legs, they simply pinched your nose to stay on. He also had some glasses that were very funny looking. We really enjoyed our talk today and some of the children look forward to visiting an optician's in the future.
