ARC21 Workshops
Yesterday we were delighted to welcome Noel Lyons from Arc21 to Loughries for a full day of recycling workshops and creative craft activities. Noel visited every classroom, sharing engaging insights about how recycling works, why it matters, and the small changes we can all make to help our environment.
Each class had the opportunity to take part in hands‑on activities, exploring how everyday materials can be reused in imaginative ways. In P7, the children had a fantastic time designing and building their own planes and rockets using recyclable materials. Their creativity, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills were on full display—and the results were brilliant!
A huge thank‑you to Noel for inspiring our pupils and helping them think differently about waste, reuse, and sustainability.
