Autumn fun!

P1/2 had a super week full of fun and practical Autumn activities! Our class were great at bringing in plenty of Autumn items and we explored these together, discussing all the signs of Autumn. We went on an Autumn scavenger hunt and visited the outdoor classroom to create leaf rubbings. P1/2 used their Autumn finds in numeracy to carry out a float or sink experiment. We were very surprised to see that pumpkins can float! We made Autumn tree finger paintings during art to add to our Autumn display board. P1/2 also managed a visit to the library bus, practised rolling and dribbling in P.E. and had lots of fun during play time, with the construction table being a particular favourite.
