Exploring Leadership

18th Nov 2016

On Monday 7th November the P7's were delighted to have a visit from Catherine and David from CRIS (Community Relations In Schools). We explored what it means to be a leader in our Integrated School. First of all we introduced ourselves and told everyone something we were good at. We played the following games: Zip Zap, Pattern Bean Bag and the Alphabet Activity. This helped us to work together as a team. Then we discussed 'What does integration mean to me?'

We explored leadership by taking part in a walking debate. Then the children worked in a small group and recorded using art, what they thought are the key characteristics of a leader. We had a fantastic afternoon and we will all be able to continue to develop our leadership skills during break time.
