Farm Adventure

18th Jun 2025

Today P3/4 had a fantastic school trip to Streamvale Farm. We arrived at the farm and met our tour guide Shannon, who was brilliant and knew lots of facts about the farm and the animals that live there. The children got to feed some of the animals as well as being given the opportunity to pet some very cute chicks and bunnies. We were also very lucky to have a tractor and trailer ride where we got to see the red deer and were shown an antler that had fallen off one of them. Shannon then took us to the milking parlour before we stopped for some well earned lunch. The children did really well and Shannon enjoyed meeting them as much as we enjoyed having her as our guide. We finished the trip with a visit to the farmyard playground, which was great fun. There will be some very sleepy children (and teachers!!) tonight.
