Happy New Year!

First week back to school complete.

We started off the week with a visit to the library bus and then we talked about our Christmas news and New Year's resolutions for 2025.

In phonics P1 revised all of the sounds we have learnt so far, whilst P2 started to looked at double consonant sounds.

This week in numeracy we were talking about weight and taking estimates on which item would be heavier or lighter.

In P1/2 our new topic is 'Cold Lands'. We looked at different animals that like to live in cold places and made penguin pictures using potato prints.

In P.E. we were moving in different ways, acting out how different animals might move.
