Making nets for 3-D shapes

This week, we have been learning about 3-D shapes and the number of faces, edges and vertices in different types of shape. Some of the names of the shapes are proving hard to pronounce, like pentagonal prism!

Today, we put our knowledge into action, learning about and then making nets for shapes, first using Clixi and then drawing on, cutting out and folding squared card.
