Modelling Digestion in P5/6

Mr Stewart’s P5/6 class have been learning about the digestive system this week. Today in class they modelled the digestive system. They used their hands (representing the teeth and tongue) to crush up biscuits and bananas, slid the mixture through a loop in their hands (the oesophagus), into a bag (the stomach), through some tights (the intestines) and out the other end 🙈... Lot of fun, lots of mess and lots of learning!
