Money fun!

P1/2 were learning all about money this week. We visited Miss Scullion's shop, read the number on the price tag and paid for the toys using 1p, 2p and 10p coins.

There was great excitement over the snow so in P.E. we pretended to be icicles freezing and melting and then created our best spiky icicle shapes using our bodies.

Our literacy book of the week was 'Meerkat Mail'. We pretended to be Sunny the meerkat and wrote/designed postcards to send to our family.

The P1 sound of the week was 'o' so we talked about 'o' words and P2 were able to come up with lots of words with the o sound in the middle!

In PDMU we talked about happiness and all the things that make P1/2 happy.
