Mount Stewart Victorian Visit

Just before the half term break, the P7s went to Mount Stewart for the day to see what life would have been like in a grand house in Victorian times. They got to dress up as servants and were taught how they would have been expected to behave, how to properly address people and what life was like, upstairs and downstairs.

They saw a carriage, were told the kind of food that would have been served and saw a table all set out for a formal dinner. It was a brilliant day out and has been an excellent way to start the new topic - Life in Victorian Times.
