Outdoor Fun!

P1/2 have made the most of the nice weather this week!

We enjoyed our daily mile in the sun and then visited the outdoor classroom to read our literacy book of the week "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". We made our own colourful caterpillars and butterflies and talked about the lifecycle of butterflies.

For P.E. P1/2 enjoyed using the grass area to practice some team races.

Continuing our topic 'People who help us', this week we explored the roles of firefighters and all the equipment they need to bring with them on a rescue mission.
