P7 Celebrate Maths Week at Loughries!

This week, our P7 pupils at Loughries Integrated Primary School have been celebrating Maths Week with a fun and engaging Maths Trail created by Mrs Thompson. The children tackled a wide variety of exciting mathematical challenges, including:

  • Ratio Riddle
  • Money Maths
  • Maths Riddle
  • Prime Number Search
  • Perimeter Challenge
  • Time Challenge
  • Compass Points and Turns



We’ve also had a fantastic time, problem-solving through our outdoor learning maths tasks, which brought maths to life in a hands-on and active way. Each activity encouraged critical thinking, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of key mathematical concepts.

To round off the week, we’re excited to announce that our Sumdog Challenge begins this Thursday, giving pupils another opportunity to practise their maths skills in a fun and competitive format.

It’s been a brilliant week of learning—and most importantly, we’ve had so much fun!
