People Who Help Us

People who help us is our topic at the minute so we had great fun setting up a fire station to play in. We painted boxes and made a fire engine.

Then, the police came to visit us. They told us about their job, their vehicles and police dogs. They also told us about 'Stranger Danger', who we can talk to if we get lost and how to make an emergency call. We need to know our full name and address in case we have to call 999.

We got to sit in the police Land Rover, try on some of their clothes and equipment and we heard the very loud siren. Then, they carried out speed checks right outside the school to make sure we will be safe when crossing the road!
