Practical Learning

2nd May 2025

P1/2 had a great first week back after Easter.

We started the week with a visit to the outdoor classroom. Percy Pencil came outside with us and we told him about all the wonderful things we had got up to over the Easter holidays.

In music we were clapping patterns, singing back notes and explored different tunes using the jingle bells.

We began our new topic 'The Jungle' and designed some brilliant jungle scenes!

Everybody enjoyed taking the parachute outside in the lovely weather and we put our steady hands to the test in an egg and spoon race during P.E.

P1/2 were very creative during play when we got our construction toys out. Everybody worked well together to design super habitats and villages!

We finished the week with a walk around the school grounds, exploring all of our 5 senses.
