Today P3/4 had an exciting trip to White Mountain Quarry. We got to learn what happens at a quarry and saw a video of a controlled explosion that had taken place at the quarry. We learned about the animals that can make their home within the quarry grounds and how they are hoping to start to keep their own bees - we will definitely want to go back and see that. We also found out how dangerous it can be in a quarry and why it is not a safe place for children to play. We had lots of fun and were given plenty of treats.
Thank you White Mountain Quarry, we hope to see you all again soon!
