Sumdog Mental Maths Competition

Every child in Loughries has access to Sumdog with their login details. All of the children have been given the opportunity to access Sumdog during their ICT lessons and instead of written homework.

Every year since 2013 the school has taken part in the South Eastern Sumdog competition twice a year. The children have been very successful and have won this competition three times and have always been one of the top five performing schools.  The next competition starts this Friday 1st June at 8am and ends the following Thursday at 8pm. The scores a child receives are based on accuracy, and are questions tailored to each student's level - so everyone has a fair chance.

As a reward for taking part, each student who answers 100 questions will receive an item for their Sumdog House.
