The Spaghetti Challenge!

2nd Feb 2018

The P7's were set the challenge of designing and building a tower which would support a small ball. The tallest successful tower wins. First of all we researched the top ten tallest towers in the world. The children split up into small groups and were given 10 minutes to discuss and sketch their ideas. They were asked to draw a side plan. They then had only 15 minutes to build their tower using the following materials: 5 marshmallows, 20 pieces of spaghetti and one small ball. The tallest tower was built by Nathan and Cody. But we all enjoyed eating the marshmallows in the end!
